There are many ways to wear your sarong and we have listed some of the most popular methods below:
Traditional Sarong
Fold your sarong into a triangular shape.Place the sarong around your waist and tie the ends at your side.
This is the most popular method of wearing a sarong.
Halter Crossover Sarong
Without folding your sarong, place it around your back.Crossover the ends of the sarong, in front of your neck and tie the ends at the back, behind your neck, to form a classic halter crossover sarong.
Skirt Sarong
This method allows you to wear your sarong as a long or short skirt.Fold your sarong into a rectangular shape.
Place it around your waist and tie the ends of the sarong at the side.
If you wish to shorten the length of the skirt, simply fold it one more time.
Full on Sarong
The best way to wear your sarong in this style, is to use a colourful belt to hold it together at the waist. You can, however, simply pin the sarong together at the back.Extend your sarong in front of you. Tie two ends around your neck and secure the centre of the sarong behind your back with a belt.
Tie front Sarong
Extend your sarong behind your waist.Pull the two ends, pulling the sarong tight to your waist and tie the two ends of the sarong in the middle at the front
Then simply adjust the tied ends, so that they hang neatly down the front of your sarong.
Side-tie Dress Sarong
Fold your sarong into a rectangle.Tie the ends together around your waist.
Take the ends of the top layer of the sarong and bring it up to your chest.
Tie the two ends of that sarong layer under the arm.
Front-tie Dress Sarong
This is similar to the Side-tie sarong, although this one is tied at the front, rather than the side.Fold your sarong into a rectangle.
Tie the ends together in the middle of your waist.
Take the ends of the top layer of the sarong and bring it up to your chest.
Tie the two ends of that sarong layer in the centre of your chest.
Twisted Neck Dress Sarong
Extend your sarong around your back.Bring the two ends of the sarong accross your chest.
Pull tight by crossing over the ends and twist the ends tightly around each other.
Tie the ends around the back of your neck.
